There were no real directions with this product — there was a plastic basket and some sort of plastic rack but they were not shown on the product diagram. I ran some peices of jewelry several times with only marginal improvement.

I bought this item to clean dentures. Even with cleaning powder added and after 3 cycles of 3 mins each, what went in is almost what came out. Unfortunately the shipping and return costs ($8 each) do not allow me to return the item. I do not recommend this product for heavy items.

This is a neat machine that works very well. Do not use it on rhinestone jewelry because all the rhinestones will fall out. I am still experimenting with the right cleaning solution to use. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

when i first got it, i was expecting a medium sized cleaner. . this is small. alot of mixed reviews on this cleaner when i was shopping around for a sterilizer. i picked up this one despite good/bad reviews on it, becuase it was cheap and also because alot of the tattoo supply shops sell it. . .
i use it to clean my tattoo grips and tips. the generic cleaner that comes with it is total crap. don’t use it, it will eat away at anything you put in it. . . if you use the generic cleaner that is. . i used the generic cleaner for my gear twice, cuase i was waiting for my Alconox cleaner to arrive. just twice w/ generic cleaner, it ate away at my tips.
not too bad, but it’s noticeable. it cleaned my stuff, but the generic cleaner, it took me 10 -13 cycles to get my stuff clean fully. and each cycle is 3 min long.
now i got my other cleaner, Alconox, this past week. i used it last night on my stuff. . . only ran it thru maybe 6-8 times w/ Alconox. Alconox combined w/ hot water in this cleaner, cleans stuff amazing! alconox was getting off my gunk before i even started the 1st process. plus Alconox is non-corrosive. . .
if you’re going to buy this cleaner, get a good cleaner, like Alconox to go with it. . . cuase the generic powder w/ it is total crap and it will eat away at whatever you put in it. Alconox did not eat away at my stuff.
i’m pretty sure you guys don’t want your expensive jewelry corroding either w/ the generic cleaner. . .
it’s a good lil sterilizer. i haven’t had any issues yet. . . if you buy it, i reccommend buying Alconox w/ it. or a cleaner of the like. not a bad buy. the tattoo supply sites sell this cleaner for as low as $[. . . ], but i seen it for as much as $[. . . ]!!
