Easy to install, sturdy, handles the weight of our satellite receiver box with ease. Easily adjusted shelf. Fits perfectly with our 32″ TV on a tilt mount directly above. I’m impressed with price & product.

I got two of these for under the wall flat screen tv. They mounted pretty easy except for. . I had a hard time finding the wall studs.
A very hard time. . . The directions that came with this unit are totally useless. Instructions like “feed wires”, are the ONLY instruction on how to route the equipment wires. Or. . “attach cover”, is the only instruction as to attaching the solid cover to the metel bracket and feeding A/V wires. No clue as to how you do this with A/V wires in detail. Really weird.
But as to the bracket itself, it is sturdy thick metal. And the glass shelf is thick tempered glass. so no issue there.
And its very nice to have your A/V devices right next to your wall plasma or lcd tv. Makes cleaning the floor easy because you have no A/V table under the tv to move around when cleaning the floor. And if you have pets that like to lift the leg on your A/V table, this is the answer. If mounted up high to the side of the tv, it keeps the little kids from reaching the devices. A very nice solution for a clean A/V wall mounting, but poor directions, and how to hide those wires???

I bought the Omnimount Tria 1 B 1-Shelf to hold my DVR and DVD player under my newly mounted 32″ flat screen in my bedroom. It does the job I have asked of it! It took a bit longer to put together than I anticipated (I’ve put together loads of things before), but it was pretty easy (could have used better instructions, but that’s a common complaint!). I couldn’t put in a stud since I mounted it under center of my TV, but it seems sturdy using anchors.
My only complaint would be as another reviewer mentioned was the wire concealer. I have lots of wires and the mechanism for holding the wires in is a bit small and cumbersome thus making the cover a bit hard to snap in place. But other than that, it’s pretty sturdy and looks good with my TV. So far it’s holding a Tivo/DTV Receiver and a DVD player just fine.
I would recommend this product, but give yourself an hour or so to put it all together and get all the wires in place.

This is a great product. I currently have a DVD player, power strip and small satellite receiver on it. No complaints.
